Vintage frosted /green glass lampshade Art Deco .

French vintage glass lampshade. Art Nouveau. Opaque & green swirl flower shape A stunning French clear frosted glass shade which turns to green at the edges - 12 fluted, 7 pointed leaf edges. It has an impressed pattern on the top area of curved swirly lines leading to the edge of the leaf. It measures 9.5 cms / 3 ¾” inches high by 25-28cms / 9 ¾” - 11 ¼ " inches in diameter from point to point, and the central aperture is 4 cms /1 1/2" inches in diameter, and is in excellent condition. There are a couple of very tiny nibbling to the bulb holder rim. This can not be seen under the brass gallery and does not effect its use. There are a few of the original manufacturing blemishes that are to be expected with fragile glass items this old . This is an attractive vintage French lamp shade which I imagine dates from the first half of the last century ( Found in my French house dating from 1930s). It is made of decorative etched and moulded glass with subtle green tinting to the rim. 30 or very near offer. Due to the fragile nature of this item, Buyer collects.
